I am blessed to be able to do something I like.  I started at a young age drawing and painting on anything I could get my hands on.  I would use the extra paint from the paint by number sets and create dog paintings.  I took some commercial art and then studied under a German taught artist.  This is where I found my love for oils.  Trying to make a living as an artist forced me to learn pastels, acrylics, drawing and watercolors.  They each have their own excitement.  I love to work with all of them. 

My portraits are all over the country and my wildlife is in collections around the states.  I have shown and sold in many shows around the area.  In 1992 I developed and started personalized sport prints.  This is an art business meeting a need that was empty.  This is still going strong.  I am now back to my first love in painting.

One of the venues I used was classes and workshops.  I love to teach someone to be able to see to paint.  I love when the light goes on in their eyes when they find out that they can paint or draw.  I have taught in schools and workshops.  My drawing and portrait classes are always in demand.  I know that I have been given a gift of teaching because of the many friends I've made and the success of my students.

Several of my students have gone on to work for Disney and New York Art companies
